Leaving Evolene and Eison behind, we started our main courses of that day. That is the climb to the Pas de Lona. Then we are talking about a climb of 12km with an altitude-difference of 1204m!

After seeing the biker's paradise this must be biker's hell. I wish I had practiced with climbing on foot with my bike on my back, because that  turned out to be the best way of doing it.

After the Pas de Lona we are treated with a short descent to the Lac de Lona followed by a  short but nasty climb. The final dessert is a descent of 15km with an altitude-difference of 1222m. An exciting descent for riders like me who are used to the Dutch mountains only. What a ride it was!
